Dorchester Brewing Company Partners with Fenway Health for T4T Event

On Thursday, January 16, Dorchester Brewing Company hosted a trans community night in its expansive 30,000 square foot facility. DBCo partnered with Fenway Health to bring trans vendors into the space. Local organizations included TransTape, Help by AMG, Pleasure Pie, The Queer Neighborhood Council, Pop Dildo, and Good Vibrations. These pop-up vendors along with Fenway Health shared resources on a variety of topics from where to find trans community in Boston to gender affirming care options to navigating trans intimacy.

The event not only provided educational and community support. It also brought together craft beer aficionados. DBCo featured 20 beers on tap with new options such as Pomona’s Nectar, a Double NEIPA with a tropical fruit finish, and (INTO THE) CITRA GALAXY, a collaboration with Aeronaut Brewery that is an IPA – Session and harmonizes tangerine sweetness and tangy orange.

The trans community event reminded attendees that they are not alone in their journey. With Boston as a leading healthcare hub, there are a plethora of support systems. There are organizations focused on the trans experience and excited to further build trans community.
